Relief of pain has made great strides in the last few years. The Staff has kept pace with these advances offering contemporary surgical and post-surgical pain prevention. We also offer pain management including medications, rehabilitation, and physical therapy.

Surgical Care

Weare Animal Hospital takes pride in offering state of the art pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery care of our patients. This includes:

• Pre-anesthesia screening including x-rays and blood testing.
• IV catheters for anesthetized patients with IV fluid support.
• Monitoring of patient’s heart rate, ECG, CO2 levels and more.
• Pre-anesthesia pain and sedation medications.
• Induction and maintenance of anesthesia with anesthesiologist preferred medications.
• Post-surgery pain medications both in-hospital and where appropriate, at-home medications.
