Our Staff and Veterinarians

Weare Animal Hospital first opened it's door for business in 1992. It began as a solo veterinary practice with Dr. Michael Dutton practicing Small and Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery. Our goal is to provide excellent veterinary care for our clients in a relaxed and caring manner.

Our Veterinarians

Dr. Michael A. Dutton, DVM, DABVP "I started the Weare Animal Hospital in 1992 to practice the type of medicine I wanted; personal, caring and at a high level of medical expertise. To that end, I have invested in our Staff and expanded the Hospital each year so now we offer many services that used to be available only at referral centers or University hospitals."

Dr. Jane Barlow, DVM has been an associate at the Weare Animal Hospital since June of 2006. She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College located at the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biological chemistry from Bates College in Maine. Dr. Barlow is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists, and the American Veterinary Dental Society.

Dr. Barlow is a native of Londonderry, NH and now resides in Nashua with her husband, Adam. She has two cats, a fluffy orange tabby Bailey and a dilute calico Callie, which she adopted from the Prince Edward Island Humane Society during veterinary school. In the fall of 2008, she and Adam added to the menagerie with a yellow Labrador Retriever named Cannon.

An avid downhill skier, Dr. Barlow has skied all over New England but hopes to make a trip out West to tackle the powder. When not playing outside, she loves to knit and spin her own yarn. Even though Dr. Barlow drives a distance to get to work every day, she is enamored by her staff, clients and patients at the Weare Animal Hospital. There is nowhere else she would rather work!
