Doggy Day Care

At the Weare Animal Hospital we understand that regular exercise and playtime are essential to your dog’s well-being. We also understand that our clients lead busy lives which make getting that regular playtime difficult. We offer Doggy Day Care for our clients Monday through Friday.

Web Cam

While your dog is in Day Care, you'll be able to log in to our web cam to view snapshots of what's happening in the day care area, updated every 3 seconds while in operation. Click here to view now. We run dogs outside numerous times during the day depending on the weather and number of dogs in Day Care. If you don't see any activity right now, please check back later.

Note: The web cam requires that you have an ActiveX Control installed on your computer. If you don't, you will be prompted to download the free control from Microsoft. Once you've installed ActiveX, you'll be able to view the webcam.

More About Our Day Care

Your dog will be temperament tested to determine the playgroup that best fits their energy level and size. We have several large outdoor fenced runs that your dog will be able to play in with a few other dogs. We also have a large fenced-in area that allows even more room for romping and playing!

Your dog will have constant supervision while outside in the fenced area. Accidents can happen even when everything is done correctly. Any injuries sustained while in day care will be addressed by the doctors at the Weare Animal Hospital. Owners will be notified as soon as possible to discuss the treatment plan. Expenses for medical care are an additional charge.

We allow all the dogs quiet time for rest and relaxation. This time is just as important as the exercise. Please feel free to bring a toy for your dog to enjoy during this quiet time. Understand that we let your dogs play outside. So expect them to be tired and sometimes dirty. At our discretion, extremely dirty dogs will get rinsed off. If you would like a more thorough grooming or bathing, that can be arranged.
